Russuan Beauty Victoria Radochinskaya Crowned Mrs World 2009

Mrs World, not to be mistaken with the Miss World pageant, has been running since 1985 and is a beauty contest for the married women.
The finals of the 2009 event were held on Sunday night in Vung Tau, Vietnam with 31-year-old Victoria Radochinskaya from Russia taking the crown.
Participants from the United States and Vietnam won second and third places, respectively.
I really don’t get this contest, if it’s all about promoting the institution of marriage, shouldn’t these women be at home taking care of their husbands and the housework?
